Listening

Inner awareness, if you do not have it, is to pass oneself by every day.” Leo

Here we explore, through different activities and practices, what it means to listen. Listening is not something we do solely with our ears – that is hearing. Listening is a throughout process, exercised in the whole of ourselves, requiring practice, discipline and the ability to become increasingly less personal.

Our body, and the many lives within us, communicate all the time, as they register and react with us and the world around us. They inform us about their state and of what’s going on at any time and within any circumstance. We walk into a room and our inner lives will react. We meet someone and have a conversation, and likewise our inner lives will be participating in it. They know so much more about what is happening than we do – the challenge is accessing this. How do we do that? We need to learn to listen, learn to listen to their voices, and train ourselves in tuning to their frequency.

Better listening will enable you to have a more intimate life with you, your inner lives and with all that you engage with. It will assist you in accessing the many lives and layers and levels that you are.
